Andrew's research interests cover a wide range of applications of mathematical modelling in the applied sciences, including geophysics, biology and industrial problems, and using analytical, asymptotic and numerical methods of analysis. In relation to the food system, he has worked on biofilm and bioremediation, with applications in groundwater flow, and to the dispersal and removal of contaminant chemical species, including agricultural products such as phosphate and nitrate.
